Louisa Treadwell

Louisa is an architecturally trained sustainability consultant with expertise in passive and environmental design guidance, and environmental modelling. After graduating in 2015, Louisa worked in various architectural and project management roles, where she was able to work on and learn from a variety of projects, from small house extensions and refurbishments, to large-scale PassivHaus projects.

Before joining XCO2 in 2018, she also completed a three month volunteering expedition in Costa Rica with Raleigh International, where she gained invaluable experience in sustainable development work.

Louisa is a strong believer in the implementation of circular economy principles going forward, as well as in the value of improving the industry’s design practices to achieve health and well-being for occupants and optimum indoor environmental quality through such tools as post occupancy evaluations and real-time environmental monitoring.
