Amber joined XCO2 in July 2021 with expertise and a keen interest in building performance and developing net zero carbon and sustainability strategies. She has led on projects ranging from schools and hospitals to residential led masterplans. In addition to working with clients to achieve their sustainability aspirations, in her previous role, Amber led the ISO 14001 and 50001 certified Environmental Management System for seven UK and Ireland studios and developed new practice sustainability policy to ensure that high levels of sustainability were achieved from within.
Amber has contributed to the Mayor of London’s Good Growth by Design Recovery Roundtables and sits on the Camden and London Legacy Development Corporation Design and Quality Review Panels, helping to ensure high quality sustainable design standards for new development. She has also collaborated with over 100 industry professionals to co-author the LETI Climate Emergency Design and Retrofit Guides, to support the transition of the capital’s built environment to net zero carbon.
Amber holds an MSc in Sustainable Energy Technologies & Management from Brunel University London and BSc (Hons) in Architectural and Interdisciplinary Studies from University College of London.
