Amber joined XCO2 in July 2021 as Senior Sustainability Consultant. She studied Architectural and Interdisciplinary Studies BSc (Hons) at University College of London before completing Sustainable Energy Technologies & Management MSc at Brunel University.
Amber has a keen interest in developing net zero carbon strategies, and has worked on projects ranging from schools and hospitals to masterplans, developing Supplementary Planning Guidance, Post-Occupancy Evaluations, as well as Urban Greening Factor and Biodiversity Net Gain calculations and evaluation.
Amber has contributed to the Mayor of London’s Good Growth by Design Recovery Roundtables and sit on the Camden and London Legacy Development Corporation Design and Quality Review Panels, helping to ensure high sustainable design standards for developments. She has also collaborated with over 100 industry professionals to co-author the LETI Climate Emergency Design Guide, to support the transition of the capital’s built environment to net zero carbon and emerging guidance for retrofit.
