We are delighted to announce our involvement in one winning project and two commended projects in the New London Awards 2017.

XCO2 worked with architects Allford Hall Monaghan Morris on the unbuilt winner of the Homes prize in June this year, undertaking the Daylight, Sunlight and Overshadowing Assessment for the Olympic Park-based residential scheme.

The Regal Homes and Waugh Thistleton project Dalston Lane in Hackney, the world’s largest CLT building, received Commendations in both the Ashden sustainability prize and the Housing prize. We were appointed for a wide range of scopes throughout the duration of this project, from full detailed M&E design to BREEAM, Part L, CfSH, Thermal Bridging and Green Lease Compliance.

Mikhail Riches’ project for a new religious community St Margaret the Queen in Streatham, for which XCO2 performed a Flood Risk Assessment and SuDs Strategy, and Site Waste Management Strategy , was also commended in the Culture and Community category.

We have thoroughly enjoyed working on all of the above projects and would like to congratulate all those involved!
