Tomas Keating

Having recently graduated with a BSc in Physics from the University of Warwick, Tomas joined XCO2 in the summer of 2018 as a sustainability consultant. Whilst there, his focused quickly turned to thermal systems and renewable energy production.

Tomas primarily carries out daylight, sunlight and overshadowing simulations, SAP and SBEM calculations along with overheating assessments for residential scale developments.

He believes balance between a theoretical and empirical approach is key to efficient design in built up environments. During his time at XCO2 he hopes to gain experience in developing passive design strategies while also exploring the potential of renewable technologies in a modern urban context.
