XCO2 was commissioned to carry out detailed thermal and daylight modelling for the new headquarters of the Credicitrus cooperative bank in Bebedouro, Sao Paulo, with the aim of providing evidence for AQUA certification as well as improving their energy performance and internal comfort levels for occupants.
A detailed analysis of glazing types and shading devices was carried out, comparing the thermal and daylight effects of proposals to allow for optimum facade specification. The final results of glazing, shading and night-time ventilation proposals allowed for savings of 9% in cooling and 14% in daylight levels.
