67 Southwark Street has picked up a RIBA London Award!
The scheme, which was designed by Allies and Morrison for Tailored Living Solutions, is a slender marker building on a sharp street corner in the heart of London’s Bankside area. The 16 storeys contain bespoke triplex, duplex and single floor apartments as well as ground floor retail space, all within a highly constrained triangular site.
We provided M&E design consultancy services from concept through to completion. Reversible air source heat pumps, underfloor heating, and rooftop photovoltaic panels were combined with an efficient building fabric to meet a 35% reduction in carbon.
