Gardner Close offers 20 one bedroom Pocket homes within a 4-storey building for first time buyers living or working in the London Borough of Redbridge. The development includes the provision of allotments and shared garden space and low-level planters.
XCO2 provided environmental, energy and sustainability guidance, as well as building services engineering from concept to completion. At the time of design, the scheme was one of 15 Pocket Living developments across London for which XCO2 have been appointed. The scheme reflects the client and design team’s aspirations in integrating sustainability measures, with the project exceeding the requirements set out by environmental policies from the London Borough of Redbridge and the London Plan.
