We are delighted that Riverside Road has won the Richard Feilden Award for best social housing scheme at the Housing Design Awards. We are proud to have collaborated with Bell Phillips Architects to deliver this scheme for Watford Borough Council.
Constructed using lightweight timber frames for sustainability and ease of construction, these five homes achieved a four-star rating after a Home Quality Mark assessment. Through the implementation of a highly airtight and insulated envelope, use of PVs, MVHR and ASHPs the homes will provide an energy saving of 68.3% improvement over a Part L 2013 compliant development.
