XCO2 worked with AHMM Architects and 21 Construction to support Migrateful, an award-winning charity which runs cookery classes taught by expert refugee and migrant chefs from around the world, in transforming two office spaces in the Peel Institute (right behind our office!) into a cookery school. The new space is the charity’s first permanent home, providing 10 cooking stations for classes of up to 20 people. We provided pro-bono support for the M&E, thermal modelling and Part L.
On 19th October, XCO2 attended the opening party for Migrateful’s Cookery School. It was a fantastic evening where we got to taste mouth-watering Middle Eastern and North African food whilst enjoying West African live music.
Migrateful is now open, and you can help support migrants and refugees by booking a cookery class. Go to Migrateful.org to learn delicious and authentic recipes from around the world, practice a different language, and meet new people for a cultural exchange online or in person.
