Nathan joined XCO2 in February 2021 as an intern and is now a Consultant in one of the Environmental teams. He studied Cell and Molecular Biology at the Western Washington University and continued his studies to complete a Master’s in Environmental Design and Engineering of the built environment at University College London. Nathan’s MSc dissertation on rethinking fungal risk assessment within internal wall insulation systems was presented at the 2021 International Conference on Moisture in Buildings.
Nathan is an avid learner and his knowledge in the built environment is rapidly growing. Since joining, he has worked on daylight, sunlight, and overshadowing analyses, SBEM/ SAP assessments, Energy, Sustainability, and Circular Economy Statements as well as BREEAM New Construction, in addition to previously managing third-sector London Community Energy Fund applications.
