Sara Godinho Associate

Sara is an Associate Sustainability Consultant with extensive cross-sector experience as designer, consultant and lecturer. Her background includes low carbon and Passivhaus design and construction, Post Occupancy Evaluation monitoring and report, Building Regulations compliance assessment and Energy and Environmental strategy.

A registered architect with a Master’s in Architecture from University of Lisbon and a MSc Environmental Design and Engineering from University College of London, Sara is committed to reducing the environmental impact of the construction industry and creating healthier environments. She is an advocate of Building Performance Evaluation and member of the CIBSE Young Energy Performance Group.

Sara also has a strong interest in Learning and Education and is a lecturer at the University of Suffolk, where she leads the Design Technology module. Previously, she has also collaborated with the UK Green Building Council in the development of the new Learning and Development educational program. She has a passion for travel and has lived in Portugal, Norway, Japan before moving to the UK.
