XCO2 provided environmental and building services support for the development of the Pocket Living scheme at Forest Road in the London Borough of Waltham Forest. The development comprises a part 3, 4 and part 5-storey building accommodating 90 one-bedroom affordable Pocket homes, together with associated private and communal amenity spaces at ground, third and fourth floors, waste and cycle storage, and 2 off-street accessible car parking spaces.
A range of renewable technologies were considered for generating on-site renewable energy, including photovoltiac panels and air source heat pumps due to adequate flat roof space, easy installation process, and substantial CO2 savings.
