A new large-scale entertainment resort located adjacent to Incheon International Airport in South Korea. The development, which will be constructed in four phases, includes three 5-star tower hotels, as well as a casino, convention centre, retail and cultural areas, an entertainment village with a 15,000-seat indoor arena and outdoor performance space, and an eco-park.
XCO2 were appointed to consult at three stages. Firstly, to produce an initial macro level sustainability strategy report which assesses the technologies available to develop independent utility supplies for water, waste water and power generation for the development. Secondly, to develop concept utility and infrastructure design identifying plant sizes and routing of the main infrastructure services and, finally, to carry out a financial feasibility study which highlights the capital and operational costs of the utility plant and associated infrastructure services.
INSPIRE Entertainment Resort is due for completion in 2023.
