Unit 3 SEGRO Park Enfield is XCO2’s first WELL certified project. The unit is a 10,000sqm industrial building consisting of a large warehouse and ancillary office space; it is the largest unit of 3 on the redevelopment site.
Unit 3 SEGRO Park Enfield has been designed with the health and wellbeing of its occupiers in mind, incorporating the WELL concepts which include Air, Water, Nourishment, Light, Movement, Thermal Comfort, Sound, Materials, Mind and Community.
XCO2 provided guidance on what WELL v2 Core and Shell Standard targets could be achieved. Subsequently we acted as the assessor in order to coordinate documentation from the project team for the WELL Assessment submission and Site Verification. In addition, we carried out Daylight Calculations, Acoustic Assessment, Thermal Performance Modelling to support the WELL assessment and help increase the efficiency and sustainability of the site. Smart building sensors were installed to help increase efficiency and benefit employee wellbeing. As well as Grade A units, the estate benefits from outside green space, a canal walkway and a safe and secure environment.
