A deep renovation of this private residence in West London. The original Edwardian building fabric was coupled with modern internal insulation techniques to significantly reduce the heat loss of the home. High performance glazing was then specified to complete the efficient building fabric.
XCO2 developed the MEP design for the building, which incorporated a high efficiency remote gas heating system, solar thermal led domestic hot water and rainwater harvesting. The goal was to produce a robust servicing strategy that incorporated sustainable energy and water measures to reduce the environmental impact of the site.
