In 2018, XCO2 undertook a post-occupancy evaluation (POE) of WilkinsonEyre Architects’ London office, in order to understand how the office is performing in relation to design standards and capture the occupants’ comfort perception and overall satisfaction. The evaluation was completed in line with a bespoke methodology adapted to WilkinsonEyre’s
requirements.
Interviews were carried out by XCO2 with representatives from the office to gather feedback into the project handover and daily operation. The collected feedback noted a generally positive design and construction experience but highlighted issues such as lack of adequate training on handover.
