‘Retrofit Social Housing: A Practical Guide for Local Authorities & Registered Providers of Social Housing’ is a new publication produced in collaboration with Karakusevic Carson Architects and Editional Studio.
The publication seeks to offer practical guidance for how we collectively rise to the challenge of net zero and provides a series of case studies orientated around four historical typologies dominant across the social housing sector, offering practical ideas and recommendations for how to deliver affordable and resilient models for retrofitting public and affordable housing.
This publication has been created to make refurbishment and retrofit more accessible and to champion great design, but also to raise standards and encourage those working in the housing sector today to think differently.
