Environmental Design

Through extensive experience of environmental design principles, climate analysis and detailed computer modelling, we guide design teams working on building and master plan projects towards the optimum strategy for efficient design, helping them achieve their sustainability goals in a cost-effective and design-conscious manner.

Our involvement begins in the early stages by helping clients determine the project’s energy targets, in light of legislation and market opportunities. This is followed by a detailed climate analysis and guidance to the design team. We then develop passive design solutions in close collaboration with the architects and test their effectiveness via computer-based environmental modelling tools. Benefits are quantified and financial assessment is carried out. Finally, the project is benchmarked and assessed for legislation and certification requirements.
