We’re excited to announce that XCO2 has been shortlisted for the CIBSE Building Performance Awards 2026 in both the Building Performance Consultancy of the Year and Learning and Development categories.
This is our fifth consecutive nomination for Consultancy of the Year, recognising our continued commitment to delivering buildings with proven real-world performance. After winning in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025, we’re honoured to be recognised again this year. The shortlist reflects the impact of our recent work, from advancing net-zero design and material reuse to developing new tools that strengthen early-stage decision-making.
We’re equally proud to be shortlisted for the Learning and Development category for the first time. This recognises the success of the XCO2 Academy, our two-year training programme that has strengthened technical skills, boosted confidence and created a shared foundation of building-performance knowledge across our graduate and intern cohort. The Academy has already become a core part of how we onboard new staff, develop talent and share knowledge more widely across the industry.
