The regeneration of a town centre site formerly occupied by the local magistrates court.

The scheme, situated within the South Downs National Park and Lewes Conservation Area, provides two-stories of Premier Inn branded hotel accommodation, above 12,000sqft of restaurant space at ground level.

XCO2 were appointed to support the initial planning application and were then retained post-planning to produce the M&E design, an M&E review for construction stage, sustainability support, BREEAM assessments, Part L assessments and energy performance certificates upon completion. The project includes high efficiency building fabric, MVHR, and a VRF system with heat recovery.
