The last week of September is World Green Building Week: the “flagship event of the global green building movement“.

‘Change Your Perspective, an evolution of Better Build Green’

That’s year’s theme. It looks to build on previous events by expanding our understanding of the impact and benefits that green buildings can have on global emissions, energy use, water savings, health and wellbeing, the economy and beyond.

On Wednesday 28th September we will be supporting IES at their event, which will consider the application of the Virtual Environment for designing for health and wellbeing, with a particular focus on the WELL Building Standard.

Lindsey Malcolm, one of our Environmental Associates, will be presenting alongside Naghman Khan IES’s Business Development Manager and Ann-Marie Aguilar from the International WELL Building Institute. Lindsey’s presentation will provide an insight into our experiences in modelling and simulation for compliance with the WELL Standard and will discuss how software tools can assist in enabling and embedding good practice Health and Wellbeing concepts into projects.

You can find our more and sign up for the event here.
