Situated within the London Borough of Camden, Cecil Sharp House is the Grade II-listed headquarters for the English Folk Dance and Song Society, built in 1929-30.
The refurbishment aimed to upgrade facilities at the Cecil Sharp House, including the upgrade of inefficient mechanical and electrical installations to save on energy consumption and free-up space, consolidation of the bar and café into one area making it more space efficient and appealing, and finally, expansion of flexible hire spaces.
Following an initial energy audit and feasibility study, XCO2 were retained to provide M&E design services and acoustic assessment.
